We totally get that things come up! First things first: text us ASAP to let us know that won’t be able to keep you booking. Please do not contact the family directly, as we will do our best to find a replacement for you before we notify them.
If you do need to cancel, here’s what you need to know:
- If you cancel a booking that is within 48 hours you will be on “review” for a month
- While you’re on review, if you cancel another booking within 48 hours you will go on “probation” for a month
- While you’re on probation, if you’re late to a booking, cancel another booking, or get bad feedback from families, we will re-evaluate whether Poppy is still a good fit for you
The good news is that you can avoid probation by volunteering to pick up an “on-call” shift on a Friday or Saturday. This way, you'll be able to pay it forward when another Poppy needs you to help out.
Cancellations for bookings that are more than 48 hours out will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
